7. Promotion Rules

Magento 2 also offers to reward your customers with money off their orders in two ways:

- Catalogue Price Rules: Allows to set a discount rule across the whole category.
- Cart Price Rules: Allows to set a discount on the basket level, notwithstanding of products.

The major difference between the two are, Catalogue Rules are enacted on products before they are affixed to the cart, while Cart Price Rules are applied in the shopping cart.

8. Order processing

After making the first sale, you need to execute the order by shipping the product. The user may view the list of all orders by go to the following steps i.e. Sales > Orders.

9. Refunds

In case of refund of an order, simply open the refund order and click on the credit memo as shown below:

After refunding scroll down to the items to refund section and confirm with the return status. If the user wants to return some items, just update the Qty to Refund, and correct amount to refund will be updated automatically. Once you’re satisfied with the items you want to return, you can review the total refund section. Once everything is completed, simply click refund offline, which will proceed through payment gateway.

10. Customer Information

Magento 2 gives plenty of information about customers. Go to  Customer > All Customers, which will show you all the information about your customers. Once you found the person, click on them and view their information in details. Key tabs include address, product reviews, order, account information, etc.
